Refund Policy
Last updated: July 24, 2026
This Refund Policy explains when you can get a refund for Cadence and how to request one. It applies to purchases of Cadence made through our authorized reseller, Paddle.
14-day money-back guarantee
If you're not happy with Cadence, you can request a full refund within 14 days of your purchase — no explanation required. Once your refund is approved, it's returned to your original payment method; how soon it appears depends on your bank or card provider.
Try before you buy
Before purchasing, we encourage you to take Cadence for a spin with our free trial. The trial runs for 14 days and is fully functional except for MIDI export and saving progressions, with sessions limited to 20 minutes. It's the best way to confirm Cadence fits your system and workflow — no account or internet connection required. You can grab it on our Download page.
How to request a refund
To request a refund within 14 days of your purchase, either:
- email us at [email protected] with your order details, or
- use the refund link on the receipt or order-confirmation email you received from Paddle when you purchased.
We'll take care of the rest.
Payments and your rights
Cadence is sold through Paddle, our authorized reseller and merchant of record. Refunds are processed by Paddle, and their terms apply alongside this policy. Nothing in this policy limits any statutory consumer rights you may have.
EU, EEA & UK customers
If you are a consumer in the EU, EEA, or UK, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days. Our 14-day money-back guarantee is designed to meet or exceed those protections.
